Forth Valley sees no increase in Covid-19

Figures released this afternoon by the Scottish Government reveal that there have been 828 positive tests in the region.

However, the number of patients currently being treated in a Forth Valley hospital is now 28, an increase of two overnight.

Less than five of these are being treated in Forth Valley Royal Hospital’s intensive care unit – if the figure is less than five it is not released.

The most recent figures for deaths linked to coronavirus currently stands at 156 for Forth Valley, 86 of these in the Falkirk Council area.

A total of 71,092 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 57,787 were confirmed negative and 13,305 were positive.
