Forth Valley records no new positive cases of Covid-19

There have been no new positive cases of Covid-19 recorded in Forth Valley in the last 24 hours.

Latest Scottish Government figures show across Scotland there have been 22 confirmed cases since Thursday – although two previous positive cases have been de-notified and are now classed as negative, including one in Forth Valley.

This means the current number of positive cases to be recorded in the local health board area since the outbreak began is now down one to 1091.

The figures also show there are less than five people in the region’s hospitals confirmed as having Covid-19.

Across Scotland, since the outbreak began, a total of 337,519 people have been tested for the virus.

Of these, 318,999 were confirmed negative and 18,520 positive.
