Fewer coronavirus patients being treated in hospital in Forth Valley

The number of people testing positive for coronavirus in Forth Valley continues to rise – but the number being treated in hospital has fallen.

Latest figures just released by the Scottish Government show that there are 302 people in the region who have tested positive, an increase of 22 since yesterday.

However, the number in hospital is currently 86, a drop of 20.

Those being treated in intensive care remains at seven.

Across Scotland 28,652 people have been tested.

Of these, 23,377 tests were confirmed negative and 5275 were positive.

The number of people who tested positive and have died now stands at 495, an increase of 48 in the last 24 hours.
