Two more people in Falkirk district, who tested positive for Covid-19, have lost their lives.The latest weekly figures from the National Records for Scotland show in the past seven days two people have died in the region’s hospitals taking the total number of deaths in the Falkirk Council area to 131.There have been 64 care home deaths, 52 in hospital and 15 at home.The news comes as the latest figures show a reduction in the number of coronavirus related deaths across Scotland as a whole for the eighth week.Meanwhile, the Scottish Government’s daily figures show that 1061 people in Forth Valley have tested positive for Covid-19 since monitoring began - that’s three more than on Tuesday.There are currently three people being treated in hospital. Fewer than five patients are being treated in the intensive care unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.A total of 238,076 people in Scotland have been tested to date. Of these, 219,885 were confirmed negative and 18,191 were positive.
