Drop in Forth Valley patients with COVID-19 being treated in hospital

Figures released by the Scottish Government show there are currently 80 inpatients with or suspected to have coronavirus, a fall of 17 since yesterday.

However, there are now six of these being treated in intensive care, an increase of one in 24 hours.

The number of people in the area who have tested positive for COVID-19 now stands at 431, a rise of 31 since yesterday.

Of these, 59 people have died.

Across Scotland 837 patients who tested positive have died.

There have been 36,637 people in Scotland tested and 29,228 were confirmed negative with 7409 positive.
