The number of coronavirus patients being treated in Forth Valley has fallen in recent days

A total of 111,085 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 95,758 were confirmed negative and 15,327 were positive.

However, the government has said this will be an underestimate of the number of cases as not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.

Of the people who have tested positive, 3640 inpatients have been discharged from hospital since March 5; 769 were in hospital last night; 25 of whom were in intensive care, with another 15 with suspected Covid-19 in intensive care.

Yesterday, 4235 tests carried out by NHS Scotland in hospitals, care homes or the community, making a total of 163,762 COVID-19 tests through NHS labs to date.

In addition, there were 1237 drive through and mobile tests carried out by the Regional Testing Centres in Scotland bringing the total to 57,349 tests to date.
