A total of 103,508 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 88,352 were confirmed negative and 15,156 were positive.

However, the government has said this will be an underestimate of the number of cases. Not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.

Yesterday, 3401 tests carried out by NHS Scotland in hospitals, care homes or the community, making a total of 149,225 COVID-19 tests through NHS labs to date.
