Currently ten people are being treated in one of the region’s hospitals and of these, less than five are in Forth Valley Royal’s intensive care unit.

A total of 109,031 people have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 93,743 were confirmed negative and 15,288 were positive.

However, the government has said this will be an underestimate of the number of cases. Not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.
