Coronavirus in Scotland: 769 new cases of Covid are recorded across the country in the last 24 hours

There have been 769 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 967 patients in hospital and 89 in intensive care.

31 deaths have been recorded, bringing the death toll under the Scottish Government metric to 7,084.

There have been 1,515,980 people in Scotland who have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

The First Minister updated the Parliament with these latest statistics before FMQ’s on Thursday.
