Coronavirus is continung to spread in the Falkirk and Forth Valley area as cases increase, according to today’s figures.

Today’s stats show that 34 new cases were detected in Forth Valley.

A total of 2875 cases have now been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 2841 yesterday.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 41, down from 43 yesterday.

10 of those people are currently in intensive care.

A total of 1,011,507 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of these people, 68,444 have tested positive.
