Coronavirus in Forth Valley: New record high for covid-19 cases

The number of new cases of coronavirus in Forth Valley has again reached another high, with hospital cases also on the increase.

Today’s figures show that 74 new cases were detected in Forth Valley.

A total of 2322 cases have now been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 2248 yesterday.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 30, up from 25 yesterday.

6 of those people are currently in intensive care.

A total of 926,396 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of those, 52,615 have tested positive.
