Coronavirus in Forth Valley: Cases rise, but increases are smaller

A total of 2132 cases have been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 2108 yesterday, which was an increase of just nine on the previous day.

It follows some steeper numbers in recent weeks.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 28. Less than five people are in intensive care.

A total of 901,667 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 47,708 were positive.
