The area has seen 53 new cases detected today, which is the second highest rise since the outbreak began.

A total of 1754 cases have been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 1701 yesterday, according to Scottish Government data.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 17, which is unchanged from yesterday.

A total of 836,310 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 37,033 were positive.
