Coronavirus: Forth Valley sees 36 new cases in a day

There were 36 new cases of coronavirus in Forth Valley overnight, with a rise in the number of people being treated in hospital, figures show.

A total of 1667 cases have been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 1631 yesterday, according to Scottish Government data.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 16, up from 13 yesterday.

A total of 820,986 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these, 34,760 were positive.
