Coronavirus: Biggest rise in new cases since peak of lockdown

A total of 1918 cases have been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 1862 yesterday, according to Scottish Government data.

IT is the second largest single-day increase since April 19.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 24, up from 19 yesterday.

A total of 862,993 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 41,256 were positive.
