Another confirmed case of Covid-19 in Forth Valley

One new case of Covid-19 has been recorded in Forth Valley over night.

Saturday’s daily figures from the Scottish Government show there have now been 1097 positive cases of coronavirus within the health board region since the outbreak began.

That’s an increase of one since Friday.

This latest single case increase follows a rise of five cases in the last four days.

There are currently less than five people being treated in Forth Valley hospitals for Covid-19.

The government figures show there were 18 new cases recorded across Scotland on Saturday.

To date, a total of 363,239 people in Scotland have been tested.

Of these 344,594 were confirmed negative and 18,645 were positive.
