Coronavirus in Scotland: Falkirk care home staff and residents test positive for Covid-19

Health and social care staff are providing support to a care home which has confirmed a number of staff and residents have tested positive for coronavirus.

NHS Forth Valley confirmed its Test and Protect team are currently carrying out contact tracing at Caledonian Court care home in Victoria Road, Larbert after members of staff and residents tested positive for COVID-19.

Those affected are now isolating and the home is currently closed to new admissions, with all visits paused on a temporary basis.

NHS Forth Valley Consultant in Public Health, Dr Henry Prempeh, said: “NHS Forth Valley continues to work closely with the care home management team to provide advice and support. The safety and well being of residents remains our priority.”
