“Following these checks, the manufacturer advised the vaccine was safe to use and did not anticipate any issues with its effectiveness.
"However, additional supplies are being delivered to the hall in case these are required.”
The “potential storage issues” and the fact the manufacturer stated and it “did not anticipate any issues with its effectiveness” caused some alarm bells to ring among those who were getting the jab.

A Falkirk resident, queueing outside FTH, said: “There were over 100 people there. I was there from 9.15am when it usually takes five minutes. There’s more chance of catching flu – or worse - in the queue.”
Commenting online, Gillian Steele stated: “There was no drama. The queue took less than five minutes. Everyone was being patient . The staff were well organised.
"My appointment was 12.45pm – details taken, health checked, issue explained, I was jabbed and out by 12.55pm. Why make a big issue about a minor blip?”
