In what has become a weekly ritual at 8pm on a Thursday, the country will unite to say thank you to all the NHS staff and key workers who have played such an important role in the coronavirus pandemic.

This week also marked 50 days since the lockdown began on March 23 in an unprecedented move to attempt to stop the spread of Covid-19.

The Falkirk Herald has been recording events during this time in our hospitals, homes, streets and supermarkets to show how well our communities of Falkirk district responded.
