Youngsters graduate from Forth Valley Royal Hospital-based internship
The DFN Project SEARCH initiative helps participants with learning difficulties to gain skills and experience aimed at helping them move into sustainable employment.
There was further good news when it was confirmed most of the interns – ranging in age from 18 to 24 – have secured full-time jobs after completing their course.
Throughout the year, the interns have had experience in work placements across a range of job areas, including: housekeeping, domestic wards, catering, stores, portering and the mail room.
