Children and teachers of Wallacestone Primary School filmed themselves via a conference call singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow – or A Rainbow For Carers as they wish it to be known – to show their gratitude to those on the frontline tackling Covid-19.

The video was created as part of a Music Education Partnership Group initiative.

“I’m delighted that this was created using only the voices and instrumentals of our staff and children to demonstrate our appreciation.

“Special thanks to Mrs Mackay, our music teacher, for coordinating this. This is yet another example of the many ways in which our school community, and other schools across the authority, have pulled together in a positive way by engaging in a variety of fun opportunities to learn together.”
