Threatening call to school was hoax

Falkirk Council revelaed that an automated threatening telephone call was made to Hallglen Primary School earlier today.

Staff immediately contacted Police Scotland who attended the school and carried out a search.

A council spokesperson said: “They have confirmed that this is another hoax call similar to ones made earlier this week across the country.

“Staff remain vigilant at all times across all our schools and nurseries and will work with Police Scotland to address any concerns raised.”
