Primary school closed after sewage seeps into toilets

A local primary school was forced to close this afternoon due to sewage entering the children's toilets.

Parents of Beancross Primary School and nursery pupils were informed of the problem with the main sewage line outside Grangemouth’s Kenilworth Road school at 1pm today and pupils were forced to leave a couple of hours early.

The school is currently working with Falkirk Council to resolve the problem.
