The videos, created by staff and pupils, are now available to view on the school’s You Tube channel.

One of the videos, the four-minute “We Would Like To Show You A Bit About What We Do”, gives the lowdown on everything the P7 children do while they are at school, from COVID-19-busting hand washing routine – they wash hands when they arrive at school in the morning, before break, after break, before lunch, after lunch and before the end of the day – to the class topic, which this term is Japan.

The “Bowhouse Primary’s Emotion Works Journey” details the pupils’ return to school following the COVID-19 lockdown and highlights how important it is – especially at this time – to consider the health and well being of everyone at school.

It also gives details of the Emotion Works programme the children have been following since they started back in August.

As part of the programme the children shared their lockdown memories and took part in a recovery process that was designed to allow them to settle back into school and give them a chance to talk about their feelings.

It also shows youngsters the importance of keeping stress levels regulated over the day to allow them to learn to the best of their ability.

There is a ton of photos of the pupils taking part in various activities.
