After receiving a number of nominations, Derek Harley Photography Studio and Gallery in Falkirk has revealed the five frontline personnel who will be rewarded with an opportunity to have their pictures taken alongside their family by a professional photographer.
The Kirk Wynd business was one of many firms which signed up to be part of a Portraits of Togetherness contest run by the Guild of Photographers to show its appreciation for NHS staff and all other frontline workers.

The following individuals will have their pictures taken by Derek Harley Photography: Steven Cartwright, a Detective Inspector with Police Scotland; Collette Mckay, a staff nurse at Forth Valley Royal Hospital; Shirley Hendry, an x-ray assistant at Forth Valley Royal Hospital; Margaret Briggs, a practice nurse at Banknock Health Centre; and Donna Bryce and Kelly Montgomery, kitchen staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Derek Harley said: “We received a number of nominations and today Falkirk Delivers and I have selected the five winners for our Rock the Box photoshoot.
“It was quite a struggle to pick just five! It took us about an hour-and-a-half to go through the nominations and narrow them down.

“They’re done in a 4x4 white box and we make a composite image at the end with people interacting with one another.
“The photoshoots will be conducted at the end of September to tie in with this competition.”
