According to Virgin Media, Gig1 offers customers speeds of 1140Mbps – which they claim is 20 times faster than Falkirk’s average broadband connection.Jeff Dodds, Virgin Media chief operating officer, said: “Through continued investment, we’re making Scotland even faster by offering our next-generation Gig1 broadband to homes across Falkirk just weeks after switching on these speeds in Edinburgh.
