Sweet success as Larbert firm strikes deal

A family-owned company in Larbert has struck a deal to supply a major Scottish wholesaler with its award-winning Scottish tablet.

Mrs Tilly’s tablet, produced by the Paterson family, is now available from Brakes Scotland.

As the food supplier is looking to stock local brands and products, Mrs Tilly’s is commissioning two new production lines.

The firm also has a number of new products, including All Butter Toffee and a range of premium gift tins, scheduled to launch over the next few months. 

Blair Paterson, managing director of Mrs Tilly’s, said: “We are delighted to have secured this new business with Brakes Scotland.”

John Mclintock, operations director for Brakes Scotland, said: “Tablet is continuing to grow in popularity and it’s important to us to source a good quality tablet brand for our customers.
