ScotRail trains halted after bridge hit in Falkirk area

Rail services between Edinburgh and Stirling have been halted after a bridge was struck by a vehicle.

The incident occurred between Polmont and Falkirk Grahamston stations when a digger collided with the bridge.

ScotRail has reported engineers are now on site assessing the damage.

Train tickets are now being accepted on the FirstBus 38 service between Edinburgh and Stirling.
