A spokesperson said: “Following last night’s decision by the government to close all non-essential retail stores, all of our Sports Direct stores are now closed, with reopening dates to be confirmed as we navigate the weeks ahead together.“We will continue to stay in touch through our digital and social platforms, and our website and warehouse are currently still operating, with the latter working to strict health and safety and public health guidelines. We are continuously reviewing this service with our delivery partners, to operate in the safest way possible.“Finally, we would again like to thank you for your loyalty and support to our business, during what is clearly a very challenging and uncertain time for us all. We are committed to protecting our vast team of employees, as well as our wider community, with the health, safety and well-being of our employees, customers and partners remaining our absolute priority.“We will be in touch again soon with further updates. In the meantime, stay well and look after each other.”
