Poundland confirms Falkirk store reopening date

Poundland has announced its Falkirk store is to reopen this week.

The branch in The Howgate shopping centre was one of around 100 placed into what the company describes as ‘hibernation’ due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Shoppers will be welcomed back to the store from this Friday, June 26, with robust health and safety measures in place.

Poundland retail director Austin Cooke said: “All our colleagues have worked incredibly hard to keep the vast bulk of our stores open and we’re delighted to be welcoming back those in the final phase of our reopening programme.
