Polmont garden centre gets green light to expand

Klondyke Garden Centre’s application to extend a section of its premises has been granted permission by Falkirk Council planners.

The extension, which was given the go ahead on February 26, is required to allow the Polmont centre, located just off the A9 Lauriestion bypass road, to sell fruit and vegetables.

A much larger extension is nearing conclusion and will create a coffee shop and office facility at the centre.

The centre stated: “Our garden centre at Polmont is currently in the process of a fabulous new redevelopment. We will be offering our customers a new larger outdoor plant area, fabulous new garden shop and gift department, a 300 seater restaurant and outdoor eating area, plus some exciting new concessions and attractions.
