Over 100 jobs created as Camelon fast food restaurant prepares to open its doors
and live on Freeview channel 276
The new premises, in Glasgow Road, officially opens for business on Wednesday, March 10.
Run by local franchisee Elliot Jardine – who now owns and operates an amazing nine restaurants across Falkirk, Stirling, Alloa and Edinburgh, the restaurant will be drive through only due to Scottish Government COVID-19 restrictions.

The new restaurant will boast all the latest innovations from McDonald’s, focused on improving and enhancing the restaurant experience for customers. Once dining areas re-open, self-service kiosks mean visitors can order at a speed that suits them, while easily accessing nutritional information and making informed food choices.
Digital menu boards will also be displayed at the drive through.

Hide AdIn early 2020, McDonald’s closed its UK and Ireland restaurants as the country faced the start of the COVID-19 crisis. A number of safety measures have been put in place to help keep crew safe, including Perspex screens, temperature checks at the start of each shift, maintaining a two metre distance from others as much as possible, face coverings, regular hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser.
