A new name in hair and beauty supplies in Falkirk has been officially opened by one of the biggest names in the industry.
Hair & Beauty World, which formally opened its impressive new premises at 6 Granary Square, Bankside, Falkirk, in mid-March, had the ribbon cut by Anthony Mascolo, international creative director at TIGI.
The trade-only store is new home of hair, nail and beauty products for professionals in Falkirk and beyond. Not only does it stock brand-leading names such as L’Oréal , Wella and Olaplex, it also has some exclusive ranges which are only available through Hair & Beauty World in Scotland. These include milk_shake hair and FFØR Hair, the vegan eco-friendly range manufactured in Scotland.
What makes Hair & Beauty World Different?
Size matters, and the spacious store unit not only has a huge range of products to sell, it’s got the staff expertise to back that up. That includes new manager Angela Tweedie, who has a background in both hairdressing and retail, and equipment specialist, Murray Bruce, in charge of the fully kitted-out equipment showroom.

More than just a store
Hair & Beauty World has created a dedicated training space and will be bringing in technical educators for their leading brands to host masterclasses for hair and beauty professionals in the region, not only selling them the latest products but showing them how to get the most from them.
The team behind the business
With decades of hair and retail business experience behind them, directors Michael Connolly, Sean MacDonough and Joe Coubrough felt that Falkirk was the perfect location for their fifth store in Scotland.
Megan Connolly from Hair & Beauty World said: “We opened a few weeks ago in a soft launch, until we were ready to welcome many customers to join us for the official opening. For those who weren’t able to join us, we extend a warm welcome to pop in and see us and meet the team. There’s no appointment necessary, though it you do want to discuss a major refit you may want to block out some time with Murray, for one-to-one attention.”
They run ongoing promotions, with offers on products and equipment changing on a regular basis.
Hair & Beauty World is open six days a week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30am to 5pm, Thursdays 8.30 am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am till 2pm.
