David has worked in the produce department at Asda, in Newmarket Street, Falkirk for 40 years and admitted it was just supposed to be a temporary arrangement.
He said: “When I started at Asda, it was only supposed to be for six month’s work experience, but they kindly offered to make me permanent, and I’m still here.
“It’s been great to work with all my colleagues over the years. The Asda Falkirk team are a great bunch.”
