A grande successo for Gambero Rosso
The best of the best in the industry were recognised at the glittering ceremony in Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza on Monday and the Gambero Rosso team, owners Antonio and Susan Pullucci and chef Antonio Penese, were there to claim the Central Restaurant of the Year and the Overall Restaurant of the Year – arguably the most prestigious honour of the night.
The ceremony welcomed over 200 guests from across Scotland and was hosted by radio personality Gina McKie.

And that certainly describes the Burnbank Road restaurant, which has been getting rave reviews for a number of years.
Owner Antonio, who has been in the catering industry for almost 40 years, said: “It was a great night for us and a great night for Falkirk.
“We didn’t expect to win because there were such a lot of finalists.
