Free parking in Falkirk
A popular initiative to encourage more visitors to the town centre and support businesses has been reintroduced.
‘Free after 3’ is available in Kemper Avenue, Garrison Place (East) and (West), Meeks Road, Melville Street, Weir Street and Williamson Street, meaning drivers will not need to pay the normal parking charge after 3pm.
Alex Fleming, Falkirk Delivers manager, said: “I am delighted to see the return of the ‘Free after 3’ parking initiative. This, and other schemes, help support the business community in our town centre by encouraging people to visit at otherwise quieter times. It’s a strong marketing message which we’re happy to promote across the district and further afield.”
