Falkirk's High Street McDonald's closed permanently

The McDonald’s in Falkirk’s High Street has been closed permanently, the company has confirmed.

Staff at the fast food restaurant are to be “transferred” to two nearby McDonald’s drive-thrus which were reopened last month, having closed at the start of the coronavirus lockdown.

A McDonald’s spokeswoman said: “We are sad to confirm that our Falkirk High Street restaurant has now permanently closed.

“This decision was not taken lightly and all of our restaurant crew will be transferred to the nearby drive-thru restaurants at Central Retail Park and Grangemouth.”
