“Our team culture is really quite unique. Each consultant cares deeply about our community, our clients and each other.
“This attitude shines through our service as we go over and above with every enquiry, now being able to call so many of our customers friends.”
To mark the Falkirk agency’s tenth birthday, Greig treated team members who have been with the store since day one to a personal gift as a gesture of thanks.
One team member received flight tickets to Australia to celebrate her brother’s 60th in Brisbane.
Another employee, a Scottish landscape lover, received a seven-night stay in a lodge on the Isle of Lewis while another was whisked to the Caribbean with her partner.
As well as rewarding its workers over the years, the branch also given generously to charitable causes in Falkirk district.
In the past 12 months alone, Barrhead Travel Falkirk has raised more than £47,000 for various charity projects including providing a fully funded holiday to Dubai to raise over £34,000 for Strathcarron Hospice.
Claire Macdonald, Strathcarron’s business development fundraiser, said: “We are delighted that Barrhead Travel Falkirk has provided enough money to pay for over two-and-a-half days of care across all of our services, both here at the hospice and out in our communities.
“This makes a meaningful difference to local people and their families at the most difficult times.”
The TTG Top 50 winners will be announced on July 10.
