Mother’s Day is on March 14, and despite many town centre businesses being closed, the hospitality trade has diversified its offering to ensure the day can be celebrated in an extra special way at home.

Elaine Grant from Falkirk Delivers, which manages the local Business Improvement District (BID), says the versatility and creativity shown by local business owners to keep offering services for their customers has been impressive.

“With Mother’s Day around the corner, it’s fantastic to note the town centre businesses, currently forced to close, that have diversified their services to provide something for local customers.

“There are lots of local hospitality businesses ready and waiting for a return to normality and many local business owners have been extremely creative in what they’re now offering.

“We might not be able to spend time together on special occasions, but you can still send the perfect treat to your mum to enjoy this Mother’s Day.”
