Smart Hound’s Octopus smart watch has been so successful it has been made the shortlist of nominations in the digital tech category of this year’s People Environment Achievement Awards – which highlight the people and innovations helping to turn the idea of greener world from a dream into a reality.

The Octopus smart watch might not be able to tell time, but it does track the wholesale prices of electricity so the wearer knows when the cheapest time to run electrical appliances comes round.
