Envy Gowns commit to Falkirk with new store

A family business is committing itself to Falkirk town centre as it relocates.

Envy Gowns, started almost ten years ago by Carol Wilson in Grangemouth, is officially launching its Callendar Square shop this Saturday, September 1.

The champagne celebration will also mark daughter Gail (23) taking full control of the business which prides itself on offering dresses for prom nights and special occasions, along with accessories.

Gail said: “Often we read about stores leaving the high street and shopping centres. We are delighted therefore to be bucking the trend and moving into a substantially bigger space. Now we can offer more dress options, not just for proms, but indeed any special event.

“The new store comes with more changing rooms and a place for family and friends who accompany the girls to hang out during dress fittings.”

Carol added: “Our core principles is to offer a very personal service to our customers and this will always be at the heart of our business. We work hard to find the right dress for each girl and do our very best to make their occasion special.”

Delighted to welcome Envy Gowns to Callendar Square, its general manager Karen Paterson said: “For them this represents a small move in distance, but a big jump in terms of the size of their retail offering. I am sure this will be a very successful move for them.

“We look forward to working with Gail and the team and wish them lots of success at their new store.”
