Employees at leading Scottish bus firm isolating following positive Covid test

The employee had been on shift on Monday night when he learned his partner had recorded a positive Covid-19 test.
The man then told management at the Camelon-based company and was ordered to self-isolate immediately.

Hide AdADL says it has adhered to “all procedures and protocols” related to workplace cleaning in the aftermath of the incident.
The staff member has since tested positive and is isolating at home.
An ADL spokeswoman said: “I can confirm that a team member’s wife tested positive for Covid as part of a hospital admissions process and informed her husband while he was at work at 3am.

“He in turn informed his supervisor who asked him to leave work immediately, return home and self-isolate.

Hide Ad“All procedures and protocols were followed with regards to deep cleaning, fogging and sanitising in the work area, canteen, toilets and vehicle he had been on, along with three colleagues being asked to self-isolate as a further precaution.
“The gentleman whose wife tested positive also tested positive, and we wish them both a full and speedy recovery.”
The spokeswoman added: “This is the first Covid incident involving a vehicle builder in Falkirk and we have fully complied with our own internal processes, as well as fully complying with all government requirements.
“We have been in dialogue with Forth Valley NHS Test and Protect service and they were entirely satisfied with our response.”
