A DWP spokesperson said: “Locally we are working hard with employers to fill their vacancies and continue to have a focus on what we can do to support the care sector.

"We have set days in every Forth Valley job centre to highlight the variety of opportunities available in care and are putting an invitation out to any care sector employers to attend onsite and meet with potential candidates.

"This can be done through information sessions or 121 interviews in advance of applications. We will also be providing support on any vacancies available through NHS Forth Valley.”
