Duo become directors of Grangemouth-based accountancy firm

Greig Brown and Julie McVicar have both recently been promoted to the position of Director within the business.

Greig and Julie each advise a wide range of clients from a variety of sectors and have worked alongside many of their colleagues and clients now for more than 18 years, initially beginning their career as trainee accountants in 2002.

The pair are described as being down to earth, knowledgeable, well respected, dedicated and popular members of the team.

Drummond Laurie has a team of almost 50 staff, providing accounts, taxation and business support to clients across Central Scotland from its offices in Grangemouth and Perth.

David Wheeler, managing partner, praised the duo’s appointment.

He said: “This year has been anything but normal which in turn has brought its own challenges and obstacles for each of us.

"However, in the face of adversity, Julie and Greig have continued to show unwavering advisory and leadership qualities.

"Both have been instrumental in ensuring that our clients continue to receive the high quality of service they are used to whilst also ensuring the welfare of our staff is preserved.
