Debt levels increase in Falkirk
Personal debt levels in Falkirk rose by almost a third in the three months leading up to Christmas.
The average figure owed for those who sought financial help in the area in that time increased by 33 per cent, according to the UK Personal Debt Index.
On average, Falkirk residents now owe £20,242, compared to the £19,996 national figure.
