Historic house and former Polmont children's home to become new wedding venue
Weedingshall House currently has glamping pods in its grounds and the planning permission means it will also be able to offer luxury suites in the house itself.
The early 19th century house has been home to notable families but in the 20th century it was used as a children's home and then a school for children who struggled to fit into mainstream education.

The planning application states that while the location is in the countryside, the hotel would occupy an existing building which would make a positive contribution to the landscape character of the area and permission was granted.
