The Falkirk facility is now only open from Monday to Saturday (9.30am until 3.30pm) and is closed on Sundays.

Its Post Office, Ramsdens and Sutherland’s Fruit and Veg stores remain open, while Boots and Wilko have extended their hours – with access available via their High Street entrances only.

Boots is open from 8.30am-6pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am-5.30pm on Sundays.

Shoppers can access Wilko between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Saturday and 11am until 4.30pm on Sundays.

Parking is available on Level 3 of The Howgate’s car park.

The centre’s High Street doors and car park open at 9am and close at 4pm.

The update comes as Debenhams confirmed its store in The Howgate – currently shut in line with the Scottish Government’s coronavirus restrictions – will “close permanently” post-lockdown.
