Stoneywood workers recently raised more than £1000 through a 15-mile walk to support families in need through the festive period.

The money supplied five families with a three-course Christmas dinner as well as personalised gifts for children of all ages, including sports equipment, clothing and consoles.

The care service contacted Denny High School whose teaching staff were delighted to be able to offer support to families identified as being most in need.

Stoneywood also donated 50 selection boxes to the school and contributed to its clothing bank.
