Co-Op to add alcohol to home deliveries from New Carron store

The Co-op in New Carron has been granted a licence to allow it to deliver alcohol along with groceries.

Members of Falkirk Council's licensing board heard that the change brings the store on Ronades Road in line with several other Scottish stores including Denny.

Councillors also heard that all delivery drivers are given full training and they will operate 'Challenge 25', which means anyone who looks younger than 25 will be asked for ID.

Members of the board granted the application as applied for.
