The 2016 X Factor Live Tour has invited the UK’s Armed Forces to see stars from the 2015 X Factor Competition live on stage through donating tickets to the charity.

For the fifth year, members of the Armed Forces will be able to enjoy live performances from the top contestants of the X Factor.

This year troops will have the opportunity to see 2015 X Factor winner Louisa Johnson and runners up Reggie N Bollie in Aberdeen (February 12) and Glasgow (February 13) as they take to the stage on their first ever UK Tour.

The military charity Tickets For Troops has worked with the team behind the X Factor Live Tour over the last five years and are delighted to be able to offer their members the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved night out.

Many troops who benefit from the charity endure long periods of separation from their families due to operational tours, cutting leave short to assist communities with floods or living apart from their families during the week.

An X Factor spokesperson said: “The X Factor is honoured to work alongside Tickets for Troops who offer our brave servicemen and servicewomen the opportunity to enjoy what we hope is a fun filled day out, and some valuable time with their families.”

Tickets For Troops was set up in 2009 to provide free tickets to the Armed Forces for sports, music, theatre, cultural and entertainment events across the UK.

The charity has distributed over 800,000 free tickets in the last six years and is proud to offer tickets to troops which they can share with their loved ones, as a small acknowledgement and reward for the work they do for our country.
